Additionally, the role includes providing logistical support for creator and publisher events in the UK, managing the day-to-day operations of the UK office, and supporting the broader international team. What you'll do
- Coordinate all logistics for UK and international events, including booking dinner reservations, arranging travel and accommodation for VIPs, managing event schedules, and handling other logistical details to ensure smooth event execution.
- Assist in setting up unique and targeted events aimed at top publishers and bestselling creators, helping to foster community engagement and growth.
- Develop online resources, presentation decks, and educational materials for use at events, conferences, and creator masterclasses, ensuring high-quality content that supports the company's outreach efforts.
- Act as a central point of contact for the international team, facilitating communication, sharing updates, and supporting collaboration across different regions and time zones.
- Support creator content initiatives by helping promote events, product launches, and other campaigns that highlight Substack's platform and community.
- Work closely with the UK team to support the organization and logistics of creator and publisher activities, including workshops, meetups, and promotional events.
- Manage logistical planning for international growth initiatives, including coordinating travel, scheduling, and resource allocation for team members and external partners.
- Assist in organizing and executing creator masterclasses, webinars, and educational programs designed to support creators across various verticals.
- Support the operational needs of the UK office, including administrative tasks, scheduling, and resource management to ensure the office runs efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product, and support to align event and project goals, ensuring consistency in messaging and execution.
- Contribute to data collection and analysis related to international projects, helping inform strategic decisions and budget planning.
- Help manage budgets for international projects and events, ensuring expenses stay within allocated limits and reporting on financial aspects when necessary.
- Assist with the planning and execution of international partnership initiatives, including outreach and relationship management with key stakeholders.
- Support the onboarding of new international team members and partners, ensuring they are integrated smoothly into ongoing projects.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking project timelines, deliverables, and communications to ensure deadlines are met.
- Be proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in international operations and event management.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience working in creative industries, technology environments, or related fields.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
