Stratolaunch is on the lookout for a Program Finance Analyst to become an integral part of our team. This role is essential for delivering financial oversight and analytical support across various programs. You will collaborate closely with program teams to facilitate informed decision-making and ensure robust financial management practices.

What you'll do
- Assist in the oversight and management of program budgets and cost forecasts to ensure financial accuracy.
- Keep program teams updated on upcoming activities, deadlines, and key milestones to promote effective planning.
- Perform risk assessments based on project timelines to identify potential financial challenges.
- Analyze risks and evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies in place.
- Produce and review detailed project-level forecasts, graphs, and reports for stakeholders to aid in financial transparency.
- Scrutinize contracts to ensure adherence to negotiated terms and compliance with government cost control standards.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive cost control system to effectively track and manage costs and schedules.
- Support audit processes and address inquiries from programs, customers, and management to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Monitor expenditures and prepare funding requests to guarantee adequate financial resources.
- Assist in crafting financial forecasts, Annual Operating Plans, and Resource Plans to align with organizational goals.
- Enhance data collection and management practices for improved efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide financial insights during monthly program reviews to support strategic discussions.
- Contribute to the preparation of business proposals aimed at government and industry stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and internal policies to uphold organizational standards.
- Assist in the preparation of invoices, with a preference for familiarity with CPFF, T&M, and FFP contracts.
- A solid understanding of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and government Cost Performance Reports is advantageous.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) is highly desirable.
- A solid understanding of program management or operational workflows is essential.
- Ability to support program management and integration strategies effectively.
- Proven capability to collaborate across technical and functional departments.
- Strong decision-making support skills and conflict resolution abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with diverse groups.
- Experience with Costpoint, COBRA, or similar EVM systems is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive working relationships.
- Background in Business Consulting, Engineering, or Finance is preferred.
- Knowledge of government contracting practices is beneficial.
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Kronos, Power BI, or Tableau is advantageous.
- Familiarity with FAR/DFAR Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) is required.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance.

- Salary Level I: $66,500 - $87,000
- Salary Level II: $83,100 - $109,000
- This is a full-time position based in Mojave, CA or available for remote work (must maintain a Pacific Time Zone schedule).
