About the role
Stratolaunch is seeking an experienced Applications Analyst with a strong background in Costpoint to oversee the management, configuration, and support of key enterprise applications. This role involves working closely with various departments such as engineering, flight operations, and manufacturing to ensure that enterprise systems are optimized, secure, and aligned with business needs. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for application configuration, user management, and ongoing support activities. They will also be responsible for facilitating new system implementations, upgrades, and process migrations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions to daily operations. This position requires a detail-oriented professional capable of troubleshooting complex issues, collaborating with vendors, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to support enterprise application stability and performance.

What you'll do
- Manage user accounts within enterprise applications, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and managing access permissions to ensure security compliance.
- Support the implementation of new software systems and the restructuring of existing applications to meet evolving business requirements.
- Gather detailed user requirements from various departments and translate these needs into technical configurations and solutions within Costpoint and related systems.
- Provide technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving application issues promptly to minimize downtime and operational impact.
- Collaborate with software vendors and internal IT teams to plan, test, and execute system updates, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Develop comprehensive user documentation, training materials, and conduct training sessions to facilitate effective system usage and adoption across teams.
- Assist in planning and executing system migrations, upgrades, and integrations, ensuring data integrity and system stability throughout the process.
- Monitor application performance metrics and troubleshoot issues proactively to optimize system efficiency and reliability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that enterprise applications support business processes effectively and align with organizational goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and support activities to ensure knowledge retention and compliance.
- Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives, leveraging feedback from end-users and stakeholders to enhance application functionality and usability.
- Support compliance with security standards and regulations such as ITAR, ensuring that all application activities adhere to industry and government requirements.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience supporting enterprise applications, with a focus on application analysis, configuration, and support.
- Proven experience supporting Costpoint applications in a professional environment, including configuration, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Demonstrated success in leading or supporting software implementation, upgrade, or re-implementation projects within enterprise settings.
- Strong understanding of user access management, security profiles, and compliance protocols related to enterprise systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions quickly.
- Effective communication skills, capable of liaising with technical teams, vendors, and non-technical end-users to facilitate understanding and resolution.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under deadlines.
- Experience with administering and supporting JIRA is preferred, along with familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project, or Monday.com.
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing, engineering, or maintenance operations is a plus, providing context for enterprise application needs.
- Familiarity with supporting and integrating other enterprise systems such as MRO, MES, PDM, PLM, and ERP applications.
- Experience working in regulated environments with compliance standards including ITAR, AS9100, ISO27001, NIST, and FAR Regulations.

- Familiarity with security standards and compliance frameworks such as ITAR, ensuring all application activities meet regulatory requirements.

Practical notes
- This role is based on-site at the Mojave, CA location.
- Travel requirements are approximately 10% to 15%, primarily for vendor meetings, system upgrades, or project coordination.
- The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $140,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Eligible candidates may also receive an annual bonus of up to 10%, based on performance.
