Stone operates as a financial technology company focused on supporting Brazilian entrepreneurs through localized service and payment solutions. We are currently seeking an external sales representative to join our team in Sertaozinho to engage directly with local business owners in the region. In this role, you will own the complete sales cycle from initial contact to onboarding, ensuring that every interaction reflects the reliability and clarity that partners expect from Stone. You will be responsible for building trust with merchants, explaining how our solutions can improve their businesses, and translating their needs into tailored financial services. This position requires consistent follow-up, accurate documentation of client interactions, and collaboration with internal teams to improve the customer experience. You will represent the company professionally at all times, maintaining the highest standards of ethics and compliance in every conversation. Your work will directly contribute to the growth of our partner network and the long-term satisfaction of the entrepreneurs we serve in Sertaozinho.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Prospect new clients through door-to-door visits in assigned geographic areas to identify potential partners for our financial services.
- Negotiate and present our financial service offerings to potential partners, highlighting features that align with their business needs.
- Attend team meetings to plan daily routes, discuss goals, and share sales insights that improve overall team performance.
- Provide consultative support to ensure high client satisfaction and business success by addressing questions and resolving concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, agreements, and follow-up activities using internal systems and tools.
- Identify market trends and feedback from the field to inform product improvements and sales strategies within the Comercial team.
- Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate logistics, documentation, and support required for smooth client onboarding.
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust your approach to ensure Stone remains the preferred choice for entrepreneurs in your area.
- Develop strong local networks by participating in community events and establishing partnerships that generate new business opportunities.
- Communicate performance metrics and key results during reviews to support data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate introductions to new potential clients by leveraging referrals and recommendations from satisfied partners.
- Adapt communication styles to resonate with diverse business owners, ensuring clarity and confidence in every conversation.
- Support special initiatives or projects that enhance merchant education, financial literacy, and adoption of digital payment tools.
- Contribute feedback on the customer journey to help refine processes, remove obstacles, and improve the overall experience for clients.
Requirements
- Completed high school education.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, dynamic work style.
- High motivation to pursue professional growth within the commercial sector.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned geographic area to meet with clients and partners.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information with care.
- Basic knowledge of office software and digital tools for data recording and reporting.
- Openness to receiving feedback and using it to adjust strategies and improve results over time.
Practical notes
This is an onsite role.
Compensation includes a fixed salary plus a variable component (PLR, ILP, or commission based on eligibility).
