Software Engineer - Mid
Job description
Software Engineer - Mid at Spear Ai.
About the role
You will own the full lifecycle of software components that power AI/ML driven mission operations from sensor to dashboard. You will translate ambiguous operational requirements into resilient, scalable backend systems and intuitive user interfaces. You will partner daily with senior engineers, data engineers, and AI/ML practitioners to close mission capability gaps. You will champion best practices in automated testing, CI/CD, and secure coding to ensure reliability under pressure. You will troubleshoot complex issues across development and production environments while mentoring peers on standards and patterns. You will contribute to architecture decisions and documentation that shape the long-term vision of our platforms. You will help build and evolve the MCP server integrations and AI tooling that power next-generation operator workflows.
Key facts
