Sr. Software Engineer
Job description
About the role
Join the Flight Reliability team to build mission-critical software supporting Falcon, Starship, Dragon, and Starlink. You will design applications that manage engineering changes, mitigate fleet risks, and integrate agentic AI to optimize our operational workflows. This role centers on transforming complex reliability challenges into scalable software solutions that directly impact launch success and operational safety. You will own the design and execution of systems that bring clarity to intricate, high-stakes data flows. The position requires a balance of rigorous engineering discipline and creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. You will work alongside experts to ensure software reliability matches the physical systems it monitors. Your contributions will be visible across engineering, reliability, and mission assurance organizations. This is an opportunity to apply full stack skills to some of the most demanding operational problems in aerospace.
