What you'll do
- Design and implement comprehensive software solutions tailored for internal stakeholders, ensuring they meet operational needs effectively.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from the initial coding phase through to deployment and ongoing support.
- Analyze existing applications and ERP systems to identify areas for improvement and streamline processes.
- Collaborate closely with fellow engineers to convert mission objectives into actionable and functional software applications.
- Continuously monitor application performance and user engagement to inform ongoing feature enhancements and optimizations.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and share knowledge with team members.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for software applications and systems to ensure clarity and ease of use.
- Engage in troubleshooting and debugging to resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime and enhancing user experience.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices into our development processes.
- Provide technical support and training to users, ensuring they can effectively the software solutions provided.
- Work collaboratively in an agile environment, adapting to changing requirements and priorities as necessary.
- Contribute to the development of testing frameworks and methodologies to ensure software performance.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related scientific field; or a minimum of two years of hands-on software development experience.
- At least one year of experience in full stack development, demonstrating proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when project demands require it.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 10% of the time, for project-related needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Over five years of experience in web application development, showcasing a deep understanding of the software lifecycle.
- Experience in system architecture, particularly in designing scalable solutions with adaptable user interfaces.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, production, or quality control software, providing insight into industry-specific challenges.
- A solid understanding of UI/UX design principles, enhancing the user experience of software applications.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
- Knowledge of cloud services and deployment strategies to support scalable applications.
Skills & tools
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks including C#, .NET, SQL, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Python and PostgreSQL for back-end development and database management.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles, software testing methodologies, CI/CD practices, and deployment monitoring tools.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is Level I ($125,000 - $145,000) or Level II ($140,000 - $175,000) annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
