AI Operations Manager

About the role

You will own the end to end workflow for collaborative AI image production, defining operational standards that keep output consistent and on brand. You will partner with product and engineering to translate creative requirements into clear processes and measurable quality gates. You will build and mentor a team of image editors, creating an environment where extreme ownership drives daily execution and continuous improvement. You will use data to identify bottlenecks, refine throughput, and ensure that every image meets Snappr's visual quality and brand standards. You will collaborate across functions to solve complex production challenges while maintaining a high level of accountability and delivery. You will champion best practices in prompt engineering, image evaluation, and editorial guidelines to elevate the entire production pipeline. You will communicate clearly with distributed stakeholders, aligning on goals, timelines, and success metrics while maintaining a strong bias for action.

What you'll do

Lead the design and documentation of standard operating procedures for collaborative AI image production and editorial workflows.

Own the recruitment, onboarding, and development of a high performing team of image editors focused on AI generated content.

Implement robust quality assurance processes, including clear checklists and review frameworks, to maintain visual consistency.

Analyze production metrics and quality data to identify trends, surface issues, and drive targeted improvements in workflow efficiency.

Partner with product managers and engineers to define requirements, acceptance criteria, and testing protocols for AI image tools.

Establish clear communication channels with creative leads and brand teams to ensure alignment on vision, tone, and style.

Develop and maintain detailed editorial guidelines and prompt libraries that standardize image creation across the organization.

Champion a culture of radical candor, continuous learning, and accountability within the AI production team.

Proactively identify risks in the production pipeline and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or quality issues.

Serve as the primary operational link between technical teams and creative stakeholders, translating needs into actionable plans.

Drive experiments in prompt optimization, model selection, and editing techniques to continuously elevate image quality and output.

Support the creation of internal training materials and playbooks to scale editorial best practices across the team.

Own the end to end tracking of project health, including timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation for AI image initiatives.

Champion data informed decision making by setting up dashboards, tracking key performance indicators, and reporting results to leadership.

Act as the day to day owner of production incidents, coordinating rapid responses and root cause analysis when issues arise.

Requirements

You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in operations, creative production, or a related field.

You have at least three years of experience in operations, production management, or a similar role that involves leading complex projects.

You are comfortable working with AI tools and have hands on experience in image production or editorial workflows.

You have a proven track record of building and leading high performing teams, with experience in hiring, coaching, and developing staff.

You are fluent in written and verbal communication, with strong skills in translating technical concepts into clear operational instructions.

You are highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast paced environment.

You have experience implementing quality assurance processes and using data to drive operational improvements.

You are comfortable using collaborative software tools, including project management platforms and version control systems for documentation.

Nice to have

Experience in the creative industry, including photography, videography, or visual content production, is a plus.

Familiarity with collaborative AI image generation platforms and prompt engineering best practices.

Background in building and maintaining standard operating procedures or playbooks for production teams.

Experience working in a fast scaling, technology driven company with a strong emphasis on data and performance.

Practical notes

This is a full time role based in Metro Manila.

The position requires a high degree of collaboration with cross functional teams and occasional travel within the region for meetings or workshops.
