About the role
Smartly is looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join its growing team in New York. This role focuses on building and strengthening the company's talent pipeline across multiple departments and business units. The partner will work closely with hiring managers to identify current and future staffing needs and develop targeted strategies to attract qualified candidates. As a senior member of the talent team, this individual will play a key role in shaping the company's recruitment culture and processes. This is a full-time position based in the New York office with the opportunity to influence hiring at scale.

What you'll do
Partner with department leaders to understand current and future hiring needs across the organization.
Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates for open positions.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial job posting through offer negotiation and closing.
Build and maintain a diverse candidate pipeline using multiple channels, platforms, and networking events.
Collaborate with the HR team to refine interview processes and improve overall candidate experience.
Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on hiring pipeline status and time-to-fill rates.
Represent Smartly at industry events, job fairs, campus programs, and professional networking gatherings.
Guide and coach junior recruiters on best practices for talent sourcing and candidate engagement.
Evaluate recruitment tools and technologies to improve efficiency and streamline the hiring workflow.
Ensure all hiring activities comply with company policies and applicable employment regulations and guidelines.
Partner with the marketing team to strengthen employer branding and promote open roles effectively.
Conduct market research to understand competitor hiring trends and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.
Several years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or a similar staffing role.
Demonstrated success in managing full-cycle recruitment for multiple roles simultaneously and at scale.
Strong understanding of sourcing techniques, Boolean search, and applicant tracking systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with candidates and internal stakeholders.
Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with hiring managers and cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with employment laws and regulations relevant to the New York region and beyond.
Comfort with data-driven decision-making and regular reporting on recruitment performance and metrics.
Proven track record of meeting aggressive hiring goals and delivering quality candidates consistently.
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive candidate and company information.
Nice to have
Prior experience working in a fast-growing or startup environment is highly valued.
Knowledge of employer branding strategies and social media recruiting tactics is beneficial.
Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in hiring processes and outcomes.
Familiarity with video interviewing platforms and remote recruitment workflows and tools.
Background in building employer-employee referral programs to strengthen internal hiring and retention.
