What you'll do
- Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and customer needs.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities that can inform product development.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define product requirements and prioritize features based on customer feedback and business objectives.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key milestones and deliverables, ensuring timely execution of product initiatives.
- Work closely with design teams to create user-centric product designs that enhance the overall customer experience.
- Monitor product performance metrics post-launch and iterate on features based on user feedback and data analysis.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by communicating product vision and updates to stakeholders across the organization.
- Act as a product evangelist, presenting product updates and strategic initiatives to internal teams and external partners.
- Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the product team.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in product management, applying insights to enhance Smartbox's product offerings.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure successful integration of third-party services into our products.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and workshops to generate new product ideas and refine existing concepts based on team input.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in a technology or consumer goods environment.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban, is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of user experience principles and best practices in product design.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.

- Experience in the e-commerce or gift industry, with a deep understanding of customer behavior and market dynamics.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and how they integrate with product management.
- Previous experience in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and a hands-on approach.

- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
