What you'll do
- Design and implement robust security frameworks tailored for AI applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in AI systems and develop strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and software engineers, to integrate security protocols seamlessly into AI development processes.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents related to AI technologies, providing timely responses and implementing corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and best practices specific to AI systems.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI security, proactively recommending improvements to enhance our security posture.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members to foster a culture of security awareness within the organization.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including vendors and partners, to ensure that third-party AI solutions meet our security requirements.
- Participate in security audits and assessments, providing insights and recommendations to enhance overall security strategies.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that AI initiatives adhere to applicable laws and regulations regarding data protection and privacy.
- Lead incident response efforts in the event of a security breach, coordinating with relevant teams to minimize impact and restore normal operations.
- Contribute to the development of security tools and technologies that enhance the protection of AI systems against emerging threats.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on AI and machine learning security.
- Proven expertise in security architecture, risk management, and incident response related to AI technologies.
- Strong understanding of AI frameworks and algorithms, as well as their associated security implications.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection laws relevant to AI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about security challenges in AI systems.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, such as intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and encryption methods.
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
- Experience with cloud security, particularly in relation to AI deployments on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with ethical hacking and penetration testing methodologies as they apply to AI systems.
- Knowledge of privacy-preserving machine learning techniques and their security implications.
