What you'll do
Interpretation services are provided in real time for business or high-level meetings across English to Korean and Korean to English language pairs. These services cover simultaneous and consecutive modes to support meeting objectives.
All translated materials are reviewed, edited, and proofread to confirm accuracy, grammar, syntax, and consistent use of industry-specific terminology.
A specialized vocabulary database is built and maintained to ensure uniform language usage across all interpretation and translation initiatives.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Translation/Interpretation, English, Korean, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is mandatory.
Prior professional experience in Korean-English interpretation and translation within corporate environments is mandatory.
Native or near-native fluency in both Korean and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills is mandatory.
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive or confidential information professionally are mandatory.
Authorization to work in the US is required, and Visa sponsorship is not available.
Willingness to travel periodically to San Jose, South Korea, and other locations as needed is required.
Ability to work extended hours when necessary due to global time differences is required.
A background check is required.
Ability to support meetings, training sessions, and company events as needed is required.
