Enterprise Account Executive
Job description
About the role
Similarweb delivers comprehensive digital intelligence platforms that serve a global portfolio of over 6,000 clients, ranging from industry leaders like Google, Adidas, and eBay to fast-growing brands seeking data-driven growth strategies. The role of an Expansion Sales Manager is centered on identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities within existing relationships while simultaneously hunting for new enterprise business to drive top-line expansion. You will own the end-to-end sales process, acting as a trusted advisor who uncovers latent needs and aligns Similarweb's solutions with specific business outcomes. This position requires a high level of ownership, resilience, and strategic thinking to navigate complex enterprise environments. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with influential Director and C-level stakeholders to articulate value and construct compelling business cases. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to generate pipeline, close net-new logos, and expand footprint within key accounts. You will leverage data and insights to drive conversations and demonstrate how digital intelligence directly contributes to market share growth and revenue optimization.
Key facts
What you'll do
Prospect and generate new business within assigned accounts by identifying new stakeholders and uncovering additional use cases for Similarweb's platform.
Manage the entire sales cycle independently, guiding opportunities from initial discovery and tailored presentation through negotiation and final closing.
Achieve quarterly revenue quotas by balancing net-new logo acquisition with strategic account expansion initiatives.
Build and nurture relationships with Director and C-level executives to surface pain points and co-create data-backed business cases.
Maintain precise pipeline data and forecasting accuracy within Salesforce to ensure visibility and alignment with leadership expectations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Development, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to remove barriers and close deals efficiently.
Drive outbound activity and reporting using internal sales tools to track engagement, refine messaging, and prioritize high-impact actions.
Leverage the Similarweb platform as a core tool to conduct real-time competitive analysis and present compelling, evidence-based recommendations.
Qualify and prioritize opportunities based on fit, buying intent, and potential impact on quarterly and annual targets.
Adapt selling strategies to address the unique dynamics of Retail and CPG sectors, where media mix, brand performance, and consumer behavior are critical concerns.
Own key performance metrics such as pipeline creation, win rate, and deal velocity to continuously refine the sales approach.
Champion the adoption of the MEDDPIC sales methodology to ensure structured, insight-led conversations with enterprise decision-makers.
Create urgency in stalled accounts by identifying hidden budgets, shifting priorities, and re-engaging stakeholders without active buying processes.
Present complex solutions to skeptical C-level audiences by translating digital intelligence into clear narratives around risk, growth, and return on investment.
Operate with a consultative mindset, positioning Similarweb as a strategic partner rather than a vendor to secure long-term, multi-year commitments.
