Engineering Manager
Job description
Engineering Manager at Sierra Studio.
About the role
You will lead project teams from initial scoping through production deployment while remaining deeply hands-on in the codebase. You will set the technical direction for each engagement and mentor engineers to help them grow their skills and advance their careers. You will partner directly with product, design, and clients to translate ideas into shipped products that the team is proud of. You will own delivery end to end, coordinating scope, timelines, and quality without losing touch with implementation details. You will help shape our engineering culture and define how we build as an early leader at this startup. You will architect solutions and review code, ensuring strong technical decisions across the project stack. You will use your communication skills to align stakeholders and provide clear, actionable feedback to the team. You will help us build repeatable processes that turn vague requests into phased plans the team can execute against.
