What you'll do

• Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of products at various stages of production to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to analyze quality data and develop corrective actions for identified issues.
• Utilize statistical methods and tools to monitor and analyze quality metrics, providing insights to enhance product performance.
• Facilitate root cause analysis for quality issues, leading cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation on quality findings, trends, and recommendations for management review.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement practices.
• Train and mentor team members on quality assurance best practices and methodologies to foster a culture of quality awareness.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality engineering to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.

• Support the development and maintenance of quality management systems to ensure compliance with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers to assess and improve their quality processes, ensuring that materials and components meet Bamboohr's quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques, including statistical process control (SPC).
• Proficiency in quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.
• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies, including 8D and Fishbone diagrams.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.

Nice to have

• Certification in quality engineering (CQE) or quality management (CQM) is preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with quality tools such as Minitab, JMP, or similar statistical software.
• Previous experience in the aerospace or automotive industries is a plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to product safety and quality assurance.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with CAD software and engineering design tools is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
