In this pivotal role, you will oversee the Cross-APEX Licensing and Entitlement initiative, acting as the primary authority on metering, usage, and governance throughout the ServiceNow platform. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with product, engineering, finance, and legal teams to create standardized processes for managing licensing data on a global scale. What you'll do
- Lead a governance board that spans multiple functions to oversee the intake of all licensing, metering, and entitlement requirements, ensuring a streamlined process.
- Establish a definitive data model for usage and entitlements to maintain uniformity across the entire ecosystem.
- Develop and sustain a long-term roadmap that accommodates both subscription-based and consumption-based business models, aligning with the company's strategic goals.
- Facilitate release planning across various business units to effectively manage dependencies and mitigate integration risks.
- Collaborate closely with legal and compliance teams to formulate audit controls and licensing policies that adhere to regulatory standards.
- Document system interfaces and data flows to pinpoint architectural deficiencies and compliance vulnerabilities, ensuring robust governance.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather insights and feedback, translating these into actionable product strategies that enhance user experience.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform product development and licensing strategies, driving innovation within the organization.
Requirements
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in product or program management, particularly in intricate technical settings.
- Proven ability to synchronize engineering teams that operate on separate release schedules, ensuring cohesive project execution.
- Strong technical skills in documenting system architectures, data models, and integration processes to facilitate clear communication and understanding.
- Familiarity with AI usage, consumption strategies, pricing structures, and packaging models that drive product success.
- A successful history of creating governance frameworks and managing intake processes to streamline operations.
- Capability to convert complex technical specifications into narratives suitable for executive-level discussions, enhancing stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in managing product backlogs and roadmaps while balancing competing priorities from various stakeholders.
- A solid foundation in extracting customer insights and leveraging them to shape product strategy and development.

Practical notes
- The base salary range for this position is between $190,900 and $334,100, in addition to equity, variable compensation, and comprehensive benefits.
