About the role
ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Staff level Outbound Product Manager to spearhead the strategic direction for the Data and Analytics division within our dynamic organization. In this role, you will own the market narrative and positioning for two critical offerings, Workflow Data Fabric and RaptorDB Professional, ensuring they resonate deeply with enterprise customers. You will act as the primary bridge between complex technical capabilities and tangible business outcomes, articulating how data strategy fuels digital transformation. A core part of your ownership involves evangelizing these products across the entire customer lifecycle, from initial awareness to adoption and expansion. You will translate intricate data architecture concepts into compelling, accessible narratives for both executive sponsors and technical practitioners. Furthermore, you will leverage your expertise to provide real-time field insights back to our inbound product and engineering teams, directly influencing future iterations and the product roadmap. You will also play a pivotal role in enabling high-stakes customer engagements, crafting bespoke positioning and messaging to support complex deals and strategic partnerships. Ultimately, you will continuously monitor the competitive landscape and market trends to ensure our outbound messaging remains differentiated, relevant, and impactful in a rapidly evolving ecosystem.

What you'll do
- Architect and refine messaging and positioning strategies that clearly articulate the intrinsic value of data unification and governance within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Partner closely with the product marketing function to design and execute integrated campaigns, orchestrated product launches, and initiatives that establish thought leadership in the data management space.
- Create comprehensive internal enablement resources, including detailed sales playbooks, in-depth competitive analysis documents, interactive training modules, and concise solution briefs.
- Serve as a charismatic and authoritative product evangelist, representing Workflow Data Fabric and RaptorDB Professional during high-profile webinars, analyst briefings, and major industry conferences.
- Master the art of simplification, breaking down sophisticated technical concepts into digestible insights for executive decision-makers without sacrificing depth for technical users.
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative field feedback and customer inputs, channeling these insights directly to inbound product teams to help shape prioritized enhancements and future product roadmaps.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to develop customized positioning frameworks and supporting materials that assist in navigating and winning complex, multi-stakeholder customer deals.
- Conduct ongoing market intelligence gathering, analyzing adoption statistics, tracking key competitors, and monitoring emerging technologies to iteratively refine outbound strategies and messaging.
- Champion data-driven decision making by defining and tracking key performance indicators for outbound initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Act as a central point of contact for strategic stakeholders, ensuring alignment and consistency in how the Data and Analytics portfolio is perceived across the organization.
- Drive the development of narrative-driven content that showcases successful customer use cases and demonstrable ROI of Workflow Data Fabric and RaptorDB Professional.
- Proactively identify emerging gaps in the market or competitive threats, recommending swift adjustments to positioning, messaging, and go-to-market tactics.
Requirements
- Possess 7+ years of cumulative experience in product management, outbound marketing, design, or go-to-market strategy roles.
- Bring direct, hands-on experience working within enterprise software environments and navigating complex B2B sales cycles.
- Demonstrate a substantive background in data platforms, databases, infrastructure technologies, or enterprise integration disciplines.
- Exhibit technical fluency in distributed systems architectures, data management paradigms, and the nuances of transactional or analytical processing.
- Have a proven track record of effectively communicating technical innovations and differentiating product value to enterprise-level clients and stakeholders.
- Show a history of successfully leading cross-functional projects, fostering collaboration among engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Hold a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the data management and analytics sector.
