About the role
This position leads the strategic vision for the ServiceNow social and content program across all digital channels. You will define the brand voice, manage audience engagement, and collaborate with creative and product teams to ensure our social presence remains culturally relevant and effective for enterprise buyers. In this capacity, you will act as the central thought leader for social strategy, setting the direction that aligns with broader corporate objectives. You will own the end-to-end social experience, from initial concept to final execution, ensuring consistency and quality. Your work will directly influence how ServiceNow is perceived by a global audience of builders and decision-makers. You will navigate the intersection of brand integrity, platform-specific best practices, and business outcomes on a daily basis. This role requires a proactive approach to testing new ideas and measuring their impact on the enterprise narrative. Ultimately, you will be responsible for making the social presence a core driver of awareness, demand, and community for the brand.

What you'll do
- Define the overarching social strategy for Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, X, and emerging platforms.
- Create content architectures that align with product launches, editorial calendars, and brand positioning.
- Write creative briefs that provide clear direction and constraints for content production.
- Monitor cultural trends and platform shifts to identify opportunities for proactive brand activations.
- Partner with product marketing and editorial teams to integrate company narratives into social storytelling.
- Use performance data and audience insights to optimize content formats and justify strategic pivots.
- Activate community engagement to foster authentic dialogue and brand advocacy among builders and decision-makers.
- Coordinate with paid media teams to ensure effective amplification of social content.
- Conduct ongoing audits of social content performance to refine the editorial approach and improve results.
- Translate complex product concepts into accessible narratives tailored for diverse social audiences.
- Establish governance processes to maintain brand consistency across all social channels and campaigns.
- Identify and leverage user-generated content and community stories to amplify authentic voices.
- Develop scenario playbooks for rapid response to trending topics and cultural moments relevant to the brand.
- Present social performance insights to senior leadership to inform broader marketing and product decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in social and content strategy, specifically in building brand channels or editorial-led programs.
- Deep knowledge of platform mechanics, including algorithmic distribution and paid amplification on LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Strong background in B2B, tech, or complex industry categories.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across creative and technical teams.
- Experience in data analysis to define KPIs and translate metrics into actionable strategy.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on writing high-quality creative briefs.
- Ability to operate with an entrepreneurial mindset in ambiguous environments.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfort working with stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to executive sponsors.
- A track record of mentoring junior team members and elevating the quality of social output.
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and ethical guidelines in all social and content activities.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment through thoughtful and respectful communication.
- Understanding of privacy regulations and data handling best practices relevant to social media.
- Willingness to travel as needed for team meetings, creative reviews, or stakeholder workshops.

Compensation: Base pay of $133,600 - $233,800 plus equity, variable/incentive compensation, and benefits.
