What you'll do

• Lead the product development lifecycle for ShelfView, from ideation through to launch and beyond, ensuring alignment with market needs and company objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to define product requirements and specifications that meet customer expectations.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for innovation within the retail sector.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements based on customer feedback and business goals.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather insights and validate product concepts, ensuring that the product meets real-world needs.
• Monitor product performance metrics post-launch, using data-driven insights to inform future iterations and improvements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries, providing expert knowledge and support to internal teams and customers.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the product team, encouraging creative problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Present product updates and strategic initiatives to senior leadership and stakeholders, articulating the value and impact of ShelfView on business outcomes.
• Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies to ensure Scandit remains at the forefront of retail solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior product managers and team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
• Participate in industry events and conferences to represent Scandit and showcase our product offerings.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within the technology or retail sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products, with a strong understanding of the product development process.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools, demonstrating an ability to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with barcode scanning technologies and retail analytics is highly desirable.
• A degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
