As a Senior Product Manager for ShelfView at Scandit, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our innovative retail solutions. You will be responsible for driving the product vision, strategy, and execution for our ShelfView product, which focuses on enhancing shelf analytics and inventory management through advanced data capture technologies. What you'll do
- Lead the product development lifecycle for ShelfView, from ideation through to launch and beyond, ensuring alignment with market needs and company objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to define product requirements and specifications that meet customer expectations.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for innovation within the retail sector.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements based on customer feedback and business goals.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather insights and validate product concepts, ensuring that the product meets real-world needs.
- Monitor product performance metrics post-launch, using data-driven insights to inform future iterations and improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries, providing expert knowledge and support to internal teams and customers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the product team, encouraging creative problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Present product updates and strategic initiatives to senior leadership and stakeholders, articulating the value and impact of ShelfView on business outcomes.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies to ensure Scandit remains at the forefront of retail solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior product managers and team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to represent Scandit and showcase our product offerings.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within the technology or retail sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products, with a strong understanding of the product development process.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools, demonstrating an ability to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with barcode scanning technologies and retail analytics is highly desirable.
- A degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
