About the role
You will own the strategic vision and end-to-end success of Scaleway's Object Storage portfolio, including Standard, One-zone IA, and Glacier, defining the roadmap that balances innovation with reliability. Acting as the senior Product Leader, you will evangelize product management best practices across the Storage team while ensuring high-quality delivery that meets market and technical demands. You will act as the primary "Voice of the Customer," synthesizing feedback from users, partners, and internal stakeholders into clear product requirements. In collaboration with engineering, you will accelerate innovation through structured Proofs of Concept and technical validation efforts. You will coach junior Product Managers, strengthening discovery, delivery, and metrics-driven practices across the group. You will contribute to Go-to-Market strategies that drive adoption across new features and regions while balancing long-term vision with day-to-day execution. Through direct engagement via community channels, meetings, and RFQ responses, you will interface with customers to ensure product decisions reflect real-world needs.

What you'll do
Define and own the end-to-end product roadmap for the Object Storage portfolio, aligning timelines, dependencies, and milestones with engineering and business goals.
Champion discovery activities that translate user and market insights into prioritized product requirements and clear success metrics.
Accelerate innovation by leading targeted Proofs of Concept efforts in partnership with R&D and engineering teams to validate technical feasibility and customer value.
Act as the central point for product expertise within the Storage group, mentoring junior Product Managers on discovery techniques, delivery execution, and outcome-based metrics.
Orchestrate cross-functional alignment with engineering, marketing, finance, supply, and sales to ensure coherent messaging, pricing, and feature rollouts.
Develop and maintain deep customer empathy by interfacing directly with users through community Slack channels, discovery meetings, and responses to RFQs.
Contribute to Go-to-Market strategies that accelerate adoption of new features, regional launches, and product differentiators across competitive storage markets.
Balance strategic, long-term vision with hands-on operational execution, ensuring that near-term deliverables support durable product outcomes.
Leverage data-driven decision-making by defining and tracking product metrics, dashboards, and experiments to drive growth and demonstrate clear business impact.
Represent Scaleway's storage ambitions externally and internally, reinforcing the value of responsible cloud infrastructure and renewable energy-powered data centers.
Use structured frameworks to prioritize features, manage trade-offs, and maintain a clear rationale for product decisions across competing demands.
Collaborate with finance and supply teams to model product profitability, forecast demand, and align capacity with growth objectives.
Support sales and marketing teams by developing compelling narratives, technical documentation, and competitive benchmarks for Object Storage offerings.
Promote a culture of experimentation by proposing and iterating on minimum viable products, gathering feedback, and refining solutions based on observed outcomes.
Requirements
Bring 10 years of experience or more, with a solid background in Product Management across complex technical products or large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
Demonstrate proven experience managing products within a cloud-centric ecosystem, including IaaS, Storage, Infrastructure, or Hardware Lifecycle Management.
Show proficiency in data-driven decision-making, using product metrics, dashboards, and experiments to guide growth and validate hypotheses.
Exhibit familiarity with collaboration and data tools such as Jira, Confluence, Metabase, n8n, and Slack to manage workflows and communicate effectively.
Display strong synthesis and prioritization skills, with the ability to arbitrate across conflicting requirements and bring clarity to cross-functional teams.
Show deep curiosity and passion for innovation, infrastructures, and storage technologies, staying current on industry trends and best practices.
Adopt a data-driven analytical mindset, using quantitative insights to inform decisions, measure progress, and articulate business impact.
Demonstrate a natural ability to mentor and coach more junior Product Managers, helping them grow their discovery, delivery, and metrics practices.
Exhibit influence and leadership skills, with the capacity to evangelize product vision both internally with leadership and engineering and externally with customers and partners.
Communicate effectively in both French and English, ensuring clarity and precision in documentation, discussions, and stakeholder updates.
Commit to working hybrid schedules with up to 3 days of remote work per week, aligning team availability and collaboration norms.
Engage fully with on-site activities in Paris offices, including discovery sessions, roadmap reviews, and cross-team workshops.
Participate in recruitment activities such as discovery calls and interviews, contributing to the assessment of candidates against role requirements.

Experience contributing to responsible cloud initiatives, including data center operations powered by renewable energy.
Background in object storage, file storage, or infrastructure products within the IaaS landscape.
Practical notes
This role is based in Paris and requires hybrid work with up to 3 days per week remote.
You will participate in discovery calls, a use case session, and multiple interviews spanning technical and cultural fit.
