About the role
Sauce Labs is seeking a Senior Product Manager to guide the strategy and execution of our AI-native developer tooling portfolio. You will manage the full product lifecycle while collaborating with global teams to deliver high-quality solutions for our enterprise user base. In this capacity, you will own the end-to-end responsibility for key product lines, ensuring that strategic initiatives are translated into actionable plans that drive measurable business outcomes. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying market shifts and translating those insights into product differentiators that maintain our competitive edge. You will act as a critical bridge between technical execution and business strategy, aligning engineering capabilities with customer demands and organizational goals. Success in this position will be defined by your ability to balance long-term vision with the operational realities of software delivery in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to champion data-informed decisions and foster a culture of continuous experimentation and learning across the product organization.

What you'll do
- Conduct in-depth market and competitive research to uncover latent opportunities and inform strategic product decisions.
- Define and articulate a long-term product vision and strategy that aligns with both customer needs and overarching business objectives.
- Perform comprehensive ROI analysis for new initiatives, including detailed assessments of pricing and packaging strategies.
- Manage the end-to-end product roadmap, prioritizing features to ensure alignment with customer demands and business priorities.
- Coordinate closely with engineering and design teams to drive product discovery, prototyping, and on-time delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for executive leadership, key customers, and cross-functional development squads.
- Mentor emerging product managers and cultivate best practices that enhance the overall effectiveness of the product organization.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators, conducting rigorous post-launch analysis to iterate and optimize product performance.
- Architect the product portfolio for AI-native developer tools, ensuring coherence and synergy across the suite of SDKs, APIs, and integrations.
- Lead the development of go-to-market strategies that effectively communicate value propositions to target enterprise segments.
- Partner with sales and customer success teams to gather feedback and refine product offerings based on real-world usage data.
- Drive the definition of product requirements, ensuring clarity and completeness to guide engineering teams without ambiguity.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and frameworks to assess their potential impact on future product capabilities.
- Foster a culture of accountability and ownership within the product team, encouraging proactive problem-solving and innovation.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Possess a minimum of 7 years of cumulative product management experience, with at least 2 years in a senior capacity demonstrating leadership.
- Have mandatory, demonstrable experience in business consulting, pricing, and packaging methodologies and outcomes.
- Bring hands-on experience managing AI-native technical products for developers, specifically involving SDKs, APIs, and complex integrations.
- Show a proven history of successfully leading product launches and managing complex product portfolios to market.
- Have substantial experience working within agile development environments, navigating sprints and iterative delivery models.
- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to synthesize large volumes of data into actionable strategic insights.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Nice to have
- Hold an MBA or other advanced degree that provides a strong foundation in business strategy and leadership.
- Possess a background in developer tools, observability, analytics, or infrastructure platforms.
- Have direct experience leading AI-driven products from conception through scale, including managing associated ethical considerations.
