Requirements

Post-graduate degrees or equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience are accepted as substitutes or supplements. 8+ years of professional experience spanning technology research, product strategy, or engineering is required, with a track record of taking novel concepts to tangible outcomes. Breadth across AI/ML, sensing, AR/XR, robotics, digital health, and wireless technologies must be demonstrated. Originating and developing original technology concepts not merely evaluating external ideas is required. Creating and executing R&D roadmaps for ambiguous early-stage initiatives is required. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills within startup, venture, and university research communities are required. Leading complex, multi-team, and cross-geographic projects to successful outcomes is required. Complex technical and strategic narratives must be tailored to executive, technical, and business audiences with clear written, verbal, and presentation skills. Progress must be driven in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment without well-defined playbooks. Domestic and international travel up to 20% is required.
