About the role
You are a collaborative, passionate, and upbeat individual who will support internal teams and customers by driving business value through the adoption and expansion of Salsify across their organizations in a "hands-on" techno-functional specialist role. You will partner with client-facing teams and directly with international customers to meet each of their unique and growing business demands. You will work alongside other Salsify teams, either as part of a project implementation team or in support of clients during the RUN phase, to deliver an outstanding experience for every customer. In this capacity, you will act as a key liaison, ensuring that the SupplierXM platform is utilized to its full potential. You will translate complex requirements into actionable configurations and support continuous improvement initiatives. Your role is critical in ensuring seamless operations and high client satisfaction.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Working with other members of the Professional Services teams to implement the SupplierXM platform's data model artifacts (product information attributes, product data validation rules, etc.) for best-in-class delivery.
- Working with the Customer Success teams to enhance and adjust the SupplierXM platform's data model artifacts during the RUN phase according to our customer needs.
- Partnering with the Customer Success and product (GDSN) teams to build regular communications about data model changes, and smoothly deliver the corresponding artifact releases.
- Helping the Customer Success team in their discussions with the clients who want to go further in the usage of the platform and product data.
- Continuously assessing how we are doing things, and working at increasing the efficiency of the team through more industrialization with better tooling and processes.
- Produce assigned deliverables, regular communication and reporting.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure customers are set up to achieve their established metrics and goals.
- Drive a consistent positive experience with internal and external stakeholders by guiding and bringing others along.
- Collaborating with the Customer Support and R&D teams for solving data model related issues and configuration problems in the production environment, and making sure our clients get the service they pay for.
- Taking ownership of end-to-end process execution for data model implementations and optimizations.
- Facilitating workshops and gathering requirements to ensure the SupplierXM platform aligns with client business objectives.
- Conducting thorough testing of data model configurations prior to deployment to ensure integrity and performance.
- Providing detailed documentation for all changes and configurations to support long-term maintainability.
- Acting as a technical advisor to client teams on best practices for product data management within the platform.
- Supporting the migration of legacy product data structures to the new standardized models.
- Monitoring platform usage metrics to identify opportunities for enhanced adoption and efficiency gains.
- Coordinating with local partners in Portugal to ensure timely and effective support delivery.
- Participating in knowledge transfer sessions to elevate the capabilities of the local support team.
- Ensuring compliance with data governance standards as defined by GDSN and enterprise clients.
- Contributing to the development of playbooks and standard operating procedures for the Portugal region.
Requirements
- You are located in Portugal and eligible to work in Portugal without sponsorship.
- You have the right to live and work in Portugal without restriction.

- You enjoy solving puzzles or brain-teasers and can approach challenges from technical, organizational, internal, customer, or personal perspectives.
- You possess curiosity and a willingness to learn, with the ability to quickly grasp and make effective use of new knowledge.
- You have experience navigating the complexities large enterprise clients face when launching a new platform.
- You are proficient in integrating data source systems such as PIMs or ERPs with eCommerce platforms.
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing SaaS environment.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- You are able to produce assigned deliverables, regular communication, and reporting in a structured manner.
- You can work cross-functionally with distributed teams across different time zones.
- You are committed to driving operational efficiency through industrialization and better tooling.
- You are able to conduct thorough testing and validation of data model configurations.
- You can document processes and configurations clearly and concisely for long-term reference.
