What you'll do

• Lead the data science team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality output and professional growth for team members.
• Develop and implement advanced analytical models and algorithms to enhance user engagement and retention on the Roblox platform.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions that improve product offerings.
• Drive the integration of machine learning techniques into existing systems, optimizing performance and scalability.

Requirements

• A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in data science or analytics, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering impactful projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, as well as experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and their application in real-world scenarios.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data-related challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
• Proven experience in project management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in the gaming or entertainment industry, with an understanding of user behavior and engagement metrics.
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and their applications in user experience enhancement.
