Staff Software Engineer, Liquidity Management
Job description
.
About the role
You will own the design and execution of the core liquidity management platform that powers real-time cash visibility for enterprise customers. You will partner closely with product managers, designers, and domain experts to translate complex treasury workflows into intuitive and reliable software solutions. You will drive technical excellence by establishing standards, patterns, and practices that allow the team to move quickly without sacrificing quality or reliability. You will mentor engineers, facilitate code reviews, and elevate the technical capabilities of the entire team through coaching and leadership. You will solve challenging problems related to distributed systems, data consistency, and integration with global financial networks at scale. You will ensure that the platform remains secure, performant, and resilient for the most critical treasury operations in finance. You will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, making key tradeoffs that shape the future of the product.

Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native services that deliver real-time visibility into cash positions across banks, accounts, currencies, and legal entities worldwide.
Architect and evolve scalable data models and processing pipelines that handle complex treasury workflows, including cash concentration, pooling, and intercompany liquidity structures.
Partner with product teams to break down high-value problems into well-scoped technical solutions that can be delivered iteratively with high quality.
Champion engineering best practices such as test-driven development, observability, and infrastructure-as-code to improve reliability and developer velocity.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical design sessions, and hands-on coaching to foster a culture of craftsmanship and continuous learning.
Collaborate with security and compliance stakeholders to ensure that all platform features meet financial industry standards for governance, risk, and auditability.
Evaluate and introduce new technologies where they provide clear advantages in performance, scalability, or operational simplicity.
Work cross-functionally with customer-facing teams to understand workflows, translate requirements into technical specifications, and validate solutions in production.
Take ownership of critical incidents, conducting postmortems and driving improvements to prevent recurrence and strengthen system resilience.
