About the role
Rillet is seeking a Deployment Lead to own the end to end execution of complex ERP implementations for our customers in the accounting and finance domain. In this role, you will translate ambiguous business needs into precise technical and functional requirements that drive successful system configuration and adoption. You will act as the primary implementation strategist for key customers, ensuring that every deployment aligns with Rillet's AI-native platform vision and rigorous standards for speed and accuracy. The person in this position will own the full lifecycle of customer onboarding, from initial scoping through to a stable production environment and continuous optimization. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to remove blockers and maintain momentum across technical and business teams. Success in this role requires deep operational discipline, strong advisory skills, and the ability to manage multiple high-stakes workstreams without direct supervision. You will be responsible for safeguarding the customer experience while upholding the integrity of Rillet's core accounting and reporting capabilities.

What you'll do
Design and lead complex ERP implementation projects, translating business requirements into actionable configuration and integration strategies for Rillet's platform.
Partner with cross functional teams across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to define implementation roadmaps, timelines, and risk mitigation plans that keep deployments on schedule.
Analyze existing client accounting and finance workflows, documenting gaps and opportunities to leverage Rillet's AI native capabilities for revenue recognition, consolidation, and reporting.
Guide customers through end to end onboarding, including data migration planning, system setup, integration coordination, and validation testing to ensure accurate financial outcomes.
Own detailed requirements documentation, process flows, and configuration blueprints that clearly communicate customer needs to technical and non technical stakeholders.
Establish and monitor project milestones, timelines, and dependencies, maintaining clear status tracking for both internal teams and external customers.
Identify technical and operational risks early in the deployment lifecycle, escalating issues promptly and driving resolution plans that protect go live commitments.
Champion change management and training initiatives that empower finance teams to adopt new workflows and realize the full value of Rillet's platform.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders, providing responsive communication, proactive updates, and solutions oriented guidance throughout the engagement.
Maintain comprehensive implementation documentation, including configuration standards, test results, and lessons learned, to enable consistent delivery and continuous improvement.
Support data reconciliation activities, ensuring that migration activities meet auditability standards and that financial data integrity is preserved across systems.
Coordinate testing efforts across unit, integration, and user acceptance scenarios, working with customers and internal teams to resolve issues before production launch.
Build trusted advisor relationships with finance leaders, helping them align Rillet capabilities with strategic objectives around reporting, compliance, and scalability.
Track dependencies across workstreams, synthesizing information from engineering, product, and customer teams to maintain a coherent deployment narrative.
Drive adoption success by monitoring usage patterns, gathering feedback, and recommending enhancements that improve efficiency and user confidence in the platform.
Requirements
4-7 years of experience in ERP implementation, systems consulting, or finance transformation roles, including work at Big 4 or similar implementation focused firms.
Background in SaaS, high growth technology companies, or implementation and consulting environments is strongly preferred for understanding of rapid product evolution.
Hands on experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, or Workday, including requirements gathering, configuration, data migration, and go live execution.
Strong knowledge of core accounting workflows, including the close process, reconciliations, and standards such as ASC 606, and the ability to map these into system behavior.
Demonstrated customer facing experience with strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills across seniority levels.
Systems minded approach with solid project management capabilities, including the ability to run multiple workstreams, manage dependencies, and meet deadlines.
Comfort operating in ambiguous environments while maintaining a bias for action, speed, and rigorous execution aligned with Rillet's performance standards.
Willingness to relocate near Rillet's New York City or San Francisco offices or to remain fully remote within the United States in alignment with our hybrid model.
Ability to travel periodically for customer visits, onsite workshops, and implementation activities as required by specific deployment needs.
Nice to have
Experience working with AI native software platforms and emerging technologies that enable automation in finance and accounting workflows.
Familiarity with certified partner programs and collaboration methods used alongside top accounting firms such as EY and KPMG.
Background serving middle market or enterprise customers in highly regulated industries where reporting and compliance requirements are critical.
Practical notes
This role operates under a hybrid schedule that includes in office days on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional flexible day each week, with possible variations based on team needs.
Some positions may require increased office presence depending on the specific demands of the deployment team and customer locations.
