Ridgeline is seeking an AI Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for its AI Platform. This role sits at the intersection of technology, data, and business, driving the roadmap for AI-powered capabilities across the organization. The position involves close collaboration with engineering, data science, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful platform features that serve internal and external users. Candidates will shape how AI tools are built, deployed, and scaled, ensuring the platform evolves to meet growing demand. The AI Product Manager owns the vision for the platform and works to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, actionable product directions.

What you'll do
Define and prioritize the product roadmap for the AI Platform based on user needs and business goals.
Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into clear product specifications and user stories.
Work alongside engineering teams to guide the design, development, and release of AI platform features.
Analyze platform usage data and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and new capabilities.
Coordinate with data science and machine learning teams to integrate models into the platform effectively.
Create and maintain documentation including product requirements, feature specs, and go-to-market plans.
Lead cross-functional alignment sessions to ensure product deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends to inform strategic product decisions and positioning.
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through launch, iteration, and eventual retirement of features.
Present product progress and roadmap updates to leadership and key internal stakeholders on a regular basis.
Partner with UX researchers and designers to conduct user interviews and validate product assumptions before committing to build.
Define success metrics and key performance indicators for each platform feature, tracking outcomes against business objectives over time.
Requirements
Proven experience as a product manager with a focus on AI, machine learning, or data platform products.
Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including model training, inference, and deployment workflows.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences across multiple levels of the organization.
Demonstrated track record of managing product roadmaps and delivering features on schedule in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with data engineering or data infrastructure teams to build scalable platform solutions.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
Comfortable with ambiguity and able to make prioritized decisions with incomplete information.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance user needs against technical constraints.
Experience with product analytics, A/B testing, or experimentation frameworks to measure the impact of product decisions quantitatively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation and present ideas persuasively to diverse audiences.
Nice to have
Experience managing products in a cloud or enterprise software environment with multiple internal and external users.
Familiarity with MLOps practices, model monitoring, and platform reliability considerations for AI systems.
Background in financial services, healthcare, or another regulated industry where AI governance matters.
Prior experience leading product teams or serving as a technical lead in a matrixed organization.
Exposure to regulatory compliance frameworks or data privacy requirements relevant to AI and machine learning deployments.
Experience presenting product strategy and roadmap to executive leadership or external clients in a professional setting.
Skills & tools
Product management frameworks and methodologies for roadmap planning and prioritization.
Proficiency with product analytics platforms and experimentation tools for measuring feature impact.
Experience with agile development processes and sprint-based delivery cycles.
Familiarity with API design, microservices architecture, and cloud-based infrastructure concepts.
Knowledge of version control systems and software development workflows used by engineering teams.
Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and how they support AI model serving.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for deploying AI services.
Working knowledge of SQL and data query languages for interacting with large-scale data stores and analytics systems.
Practical notes
This role operates across multiple office locations including San Ramon, Reno, and New York, with flexibility in work arrangement.
The position requires regular coordination with distributed teams across different time zones and office sites.
Candidates should expect to travel occasionally between offices as needed for collaboration and stakeholder meetings.
Onboarding and training will be provided to ensure familiarity with Ridgeline's AI Platform and internal tooling.
