- Analyze and mitigate emerging cyber threats while developing proactive response strategies with security experts.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to analyze security breaches and evaluate the effectiveness of response techniques.
- Strengthen security measures by identifying vulnerabilities and collaborating on long-term protective strategies.
- Monitor security infrastructure to ensure compliance with established governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks.
- Utilize PhishAlarm tools and methodologies to identify and mitigate phishing attempts and social engineering risks.
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, testing results, and mitigation efforts for stakeholder review.
- Contribute to the development and execution of structured security approaches that enhance the overall security posture.
- Assist in administering Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for documentation and reporting.
- Support the achievement of business results by maintaining the reliability and availability of travel-related digital systems.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
- Hold a valid driver's license and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship requirements.
- Be located in the state of Texas, USA, to comply with the regional employment stipulations.
- Commit to working 8 hours per day on a full-time schedule as required by the position.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for daily tasks and reporting.
- Understand foundational information security and risk management concepts to perform job duties effectively.
- Have prior experience with PhishAlarm tools and methodologies to handle phishing detection and response.
- Show familiarity with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) frameworks and their application in security practices.
