About the role
This role leads financial planning and analysis during a phase of rapid growth, partnering directly with senior leadership to shape strategy. The position owns the financial model, planning infrastructure, and team development to support data driven decisions. It is a strategic, hands on role that bridges detailed analysis with enterprise level value creation.
What you'll do
Own monthly and quarterly forecasting, including clear variance analysis and action oriented insights for board and investor communication. Lead the end to end development of the annual operating plan and contribute to mid term and long range planning alongside the senior leadership team. Develop board and investor materials, including diligence prep and fundraising support, to maintain rigorous external finance readiness. Scale, mentor, and develop a high performing FP&A team to increase engagement and cross functional impact. Establish and own the financial model and planning infrastructure that underpins data driven decision making across the business. Partner closely with senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into financial plans, resource allocation, and scenario analysis. Drive process discipline for reporting, including close the activities, narrative explanations, and timely delivery to stakeholders. Champion data integrity and governance to ensure that insights used for decision making are accurate, auditable, and consistent. Collaborate with cross functional teams to design metrics, define assumptions, and align on key drivers for growth and profitability. Champion continuous improvement in finance operations by identifying automation opportunities and building scalable solutions. Own elements of risk management and financial controls in support of audits, compliance, and investor expectations. Act as the finance representative in high stakes discussions, balancing rigor with speed in a fast moving growth environment. Support fundraising, board updates, and investor relations with concise, high impact narratives backed by robust analysis. Guide the development of dashboards and reporting tools that enable leaders to monitor performance and take timely action.
Requirements
Bring 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership FP&A, strategic finance, management consulting, or investment banking role. Demonstrated experience leading planning, forecasting, and reporting for a large, complex organization while partnering closely with go to market and cross functional teams. Hands on expertise in financial modeling and the ability to create high caliber visual presentations for executive audiences. Proven experience operationalizing finance processes to support high growth, including comfort with US GAAP and collaboration with accounting. A bias for action in a fast paced, ambiguous environment, with a builder mindset focused on process and infrastructure that scales. Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex variables and simplify nuanced information into clear insights. Outstanding written and verbal communication, with a track record of developing relationships across senior stakeholders. Extreme ownership and accountability for results, supported by systems and processes in a dynamic setting. Proven ability to build, mentor, and grow high performing teams with clear ownership and career paths. Integrity and adherence to the highest standards of trust and professionalism. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
