About the role
This position supports the Director of Recruiting and the broader recruiting team to strengthen the talent pipeline for future hiring needs. The individual in this role is responsible for guiding the candidate experience across the full hiring funnel with a focus on consistency and quality. Success in this role depends on flawless execution of recruiting operations and maintaining a visible on-site presence in Raleigh. The hire will own key administrative and logistical duties that ensure the integrity of the recruitment process. This role requires a high level of discretion when handling sensitive candidate and hiring manager information. The position serves as a critical liaison between candidates and the internal teams to uphold Relay's brand promise.

What you'll do
Coordinate and refine ATS workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and improve the efficiency of the end-to-end hiring process.
Drive the creation and optimization of candidate surveys to capture feedback and identify areas for improving the recruitment funnel.
Support People Services initiatives that enhance the overall employee lifecycle from onboarding to development.
Own and maintain the Notion Recruiting Hub to ensure internal teams have access to accurate resources, data, and playbooks.
Refresh content on the Life at Relay LinkedIn presence to highlight why Relay is a prime employer and showcase the Raleigh campus.
Create engaging assets that communicate Relay's culture and value proposition for candidates and external audiences.
Manage the scheduling and coordination of multi-day onsite interview loops at the Raleigh headquarters to deliver a seamless candidate journey.
Act as the primary point of contact for candidates onsite to ensure a welcoming and informative experience throughout the visit.
Utilize AI tools like Claude and Gemini to support project management and process execution in a tech-savvy manner.
Support Day 1 and preboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee, including administrative coordination for new hires.
Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search techniques to identify and engage passive talent for critical roles.
Utilize Canva or similar tools to produce basic graphics for Life at Relay social posts and updates.
Employ Notion to organize projects, wikis, and team hubs for improved visibility and collaboration across the recruiting team.
Maintain modern and efficient recruiting workflows using core platforms such as Asana, Trello, and Canva.
Adopt a customer-first mindset when interacting with both external candidates and internal hiring managers at all times.
Requirements
The posting states a bachelor's degree requirement. Ability to work onsite at the Raleigh headquarters 5 days per week consistently for the role.
Possess 2+ years of experience in an administrative, operational, or coordination role within a fast-paced, corporate, or professional environment such as Admin/Coordination, Ops, Customer Success, Sales, or Sales Development.
Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to craft compelling social media posts and lead professional virtual screenings with equal confidence.
Remained highly organized to manage complex scheduling, including multi-stage onsite interviews across time zones and departments, without errors or delays.
Adopted a tech-savvy, nimble approach using core tools such as Notion, Google Workspace, and AI tools like Claude and Gemini to support project management and process execution.
Mastered current platforms quickly, including Asana, Trello, and Canva, to maintain modern and efficient recruiting workflows.
Applied a customer-first mindset when interacting with both external candidates and internal hiring managers at all times.
