This role partners with senior hardware engineering leaders to identify and secure mission-critical talent for high-growth manufacturing initiatives. You will operate as a hands-on technical recruiter embedded in fast-scaling environments, defining talent needs, executing data-informed sourcing, and driving equitable, efficient hiring workflows. Success requires proactive collaboration, rigorous risk assessments, and consistent advocacy for a structured, respectful candidate experience.
About the role
You will become a subject matter expert in hardware technical recruiting and partner closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to define and identify top talent. You will develop creative strategies to engage passive candidates, leveraging industry expertise, market insights, and data to effectively close candidates. Within Manufacturing Engineering, you will serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and interview teams, aligning on role expectations and evaluation criteria. You will develop and implement ideas to strengthen the recruiting funnel, build equitable interview processes, evaluate and introduce new tools, and stay informed on industry technology trends and competitive market data. You will advocate for an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process, from first contact through offer and onboarding. You will work onsite five days per week at Long Beach headquarters to support interviews, team meetings, and hiring manager discussions.

What you'll do
- Lead evidence gathering and root cause analysis for hiring funnel gaps, then design and test process improvements that close loops and strengthen outcomes for future hires.
- Own risk assessments for critical hardware roles, translating role requirements into targeted sourcing plans and evaluating process effectiveness over time.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering stakeholders to co-create equitable interview structures, define criteria, and introduce tools that standardize evaluation across specialized and high-volume searches.
- Source passive candidates using industry data, market insights, and creative engagement strategies, while coordinating closely with interview teams to prioritize and secure offers.
- Negotiate offers and deploy creative closing strategies that balance candidate needs with business priorities, maintaining momentum in fast-scaling environments.
- Improve end-to-end recruiting processes to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness, removing friction for hiring managers and candidates through iterative refinements.
- Champion an exceptional candidate experience by setting clear expectations, providing timely updates, and responding to feedback throughout the hiring journey.
- Work onsite five days per week at Long Beach headquarters, actively participating in interviews, team meetings, and ongoing discussions with hiring partners.
Requirements
- Bring 3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience within fast-scaling, high-growth organizations.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of sourcing passive talent and successfully filling early- to mid-career roles.
- Show experience partnering with hiring managers to develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies aligned with hardware and manufacturing needs.
- Exhibit experience negotiating offers and using creative closing strategies to secure top talent in competitive markets.
- Provide evidence of improving recruiting processes to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness across technical hiring workflows.
- Commit to working onsite five days per week at Long Beach headquarters in support of interviews, team meetings, and hiring manager discussions.

Practical notes
- You must meet the onsite requirement of five days per week at Long Beach headquarters.
- Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, within the range of $103,000-$155,000 USD.
