SkillBridge - Cybersecurity & IT Operations Associate
Job description
About the role
You will own the security and reliability of REGENT's IT infrastructure as we transition from prototype to full production scale. You will directly support the deployment of secure networks, endpoints, and cloud services across our Rhode Island headquarters, our Washington DC office, and our upcoming manufacturing facility. In this hands-on role, you will execute cybersecurity controls aligned to government frameworks such as NIST 800-171, CMMC, and ITAR while maintaining strict identity and access management. You will manage the full user lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring appropriate access controls across all SaaS platforms and hardware environments. You will strengthen vulnerability and patch management practices and contribute to incident response readiness for our distributed team. Your work will improve everyday employee productivity and protect the technology that supports our production floor and maritime operations. This is a high-impact opportunity to help protect the systems that keep REGENT moving fast as we build a new category of coastal transportation. Your role will directly support the scaling of our Seaglider program and ensure reliable IT and cybersecurity posture during critical growth phases.
