Role Description
The position involves ownership of the entire data feature lifecycle, from initial intake through final, stable deployment. Success in this role requires a focus on mission-critical systems serving national-level customers. The primary function is to serve as a dependable technology partner, designing precise responses to difficult operational needs. This involves close collaboration with stakeholders to understand intricate requirements and transform them into robust technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis and Planning: The role begins with a detailed analysis of intake documentation and stakeholder discussions. The core task is to translate complex requests into clear, actionable implementation plans that define scope and technical approach.
- Application Development: You will be responsible for constructing application components. This work utilizes modern programming languages and frameworks, always adhering to strict security protocols and compliance standards.
- Technical Review and Validation: Coordination with technical staff is essential to conduct thorough reviews. These sessions verify the logic accuracy, performance, and reliability of the solutions before they progress.
- Deployment and Release Management: You will manage the process of shipping stable releases. This involves careful execution of deployment steps and controlled promotion of code through various environments, ensuring zero disruption to critical operations.

Qualifications and Eligibility
- Professional Experience: Candidates must bring three to five years of cumulative professional experience in software development roles. This background should include practical application of software engineering principles.
- Security Clearance: Possession of a current secret security clearance is a mandatory requirement. Alternatively, candidates must be able to obtain this clearance upon starting the position.
- Advanced Security Eligibility: Holders of an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph adjudication are strongly preferred. Current public trust eligibility for accessing sensitive information is also required.
