What you'll do
You will orchestrate end-to-end delivery of scientific visualization and experiential projects, coordinating medical animation, digital tools, and congress booth experiences from concept to execution. This includes translating complex scientific concepts into compelling visual stories that meet client objectives and regulatory standards while maintaining brand consistency.
You will partner proactively with other Real Chemistry teams, including production, scientific strategy, and project management, to service scientific visualization and experiential accounts with integrated excellence. This collaboration ensures that every element of a campaign aligns with therapeutic insights and commercial goals.
A core responsibility is to anticipate client requirements ahead of schedule and orchestrate solutions through structured planning and delegation. You will govern account financial performance by owning annual and quarterly forecasts, developing proposals, managing budget and scope changes, and updating finance stakeholders with transparency and accuracy.
You will mentor and coach junior team members to elevate their contributions and align with Rad Science standards, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Additionally, you will spot opportunities for expansion and new business within assigned accounts through strategic insight and relationship development.
To support growth, you will contribute to new business activities by crafting proposals, responding to RFPs, and contributing to high-stakes pitches that highlight the unique capabilities of Rad Science. You will use data to inform creative and strategic decisions for healthcare communications, ensuring that insights drive impactful outcomes.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must already be working as an Account Director level in a medical or health advertising or commercial med comms agency. This experience should include managing strategic client relationships and leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex communications projects.
Experience working in oncology, psychiatry, or eye health would be advantageous, as these therapeutic areas require nuanced scientific understanding and sensitivity to patient and healthcare professional needs. You should have a strong grasp of brand guidelines and a clear understanding of both the medical and commercial aspects of a pharma business, ensuring that creative work is scientifically accurate and commercially viable.
You will have demonstrated experience in cross-collaborating with other teams, including production, scientific strategy, and project managers, to execute deliverables for clients on time and within scope. Strong organizational, written, and verbal skills are essential, as you will be responsible for articulating ideas clearly to clients and team members at all levels.
A proven track record of leading client relationships and managing account profitability will be required, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
