The role targets a Senior Software Engineer passionate about designing high-performance, low-latency, privacy-first backend systems that power smarter ad decisioning. You will deliver outcomes that benefit buyers, publishers, and DSP partners. You will operate at the heart of the programmatic advertising ecosystem. Your work will span real-time bidding, targeting, optimization, attribution readiness, and auction intelligence. The role focuses on improving bid efficiency, win rate, fill rate, yield, buyer spend performance, and platform reliability. You will function within evolving privacy constraints and signal landscapes.
This role suits a strong backend engineer with deep ad-tech and performance advertising expertise. You will engage with SSP-DSP workflows, OpenRTB, real-time decisioning, privacy-aware signal usage, and optimization systems. Collaboration will occur with Product, Data Science, DSP Partnerships, Publisher teams, and SRE. You will help build ML-driven, data-informed platforms. These platforms directly influence campaign performance and marketplace efficiency. Key Responsibilities
You will develop, benchmark, and deploy real-time bidding algorithms, pacing controls, and predictive models. These efforts target maximizing ROAS and conversion tracking across all screens, including CTV, Mobile App, Video, and Desktop. You will use best practices for software development and documentation. You will ensure designs meet requirements and deliver high-quality work. You will write high-performance, low-latency, and memory-efficient code in Python, Go, or C++. This work will align with our ultra-scaled backend layer that processes trillions of daily requests.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
You bring four or more years of development experience in Go language within Linux/UNIX environments. Good to have experience with C/C++ language. You will show excellent understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms. You will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. You will be able to use generative AI-based tools and IDE for getting work done. You will understand different models at a basic level. You will know prompt engineering basics. You will have knowledge of OS and system programming, including multi-threading, multi-processing, and memory management.
You will troubleshoot any issues with existing features live in production. You will write clean, modular, and loosely coupled code. You will understand end-to-end product functionality. You will perform software design for assigned tasks. You will use working knowledge of scripting in Perl, Python, or Shell. You will have working experience in databases, preferably MySQL. You will work closely with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development. You will possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in AI-assisted coding, automation, prompt engineering, and an understanding of the strengths and limitations of LLM-generated code is a strong plus.
Role Location and Engagement
This role is based in Pune, India. It is a full-time position. The compensation range is USD 156,250.00 to USD 221,250.00 per year.
