What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks to evaluate the performance of photonic hardware components.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to understand testing requirements and translate them into effective automated test cases.
- Execute rigorous testing procedures to assess the functionality, reliability, and scalability of quantum hardware systems.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting any issues and recommending corrective actions.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware testing, with a focus on automation in a high-tech environment.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or similar, with experience in test automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in using hardware testing tools and equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and automated test systems.
- Solid understanding of photonic systems and components, including lasers, detectors, and optical fibers.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools to interpret test results effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
