Travel to Office expectations

Employees in remote roles must expect travel to and from the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office. This travel applies to onboarding, team events, and semi-annual or annual team meetings. Hybrid roles require residence within a commutable distance to the specified office location. Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly in-office events with the specific team are mandatory for this role.

PointClickCare seeks an Associate Data Scientist to own model performance for long-term care providers. Key Responsibilities

The Associate Data Scientist will architect intake pipelines to standardize diverse clinical data for analysis. The ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences is necessary. Experience working within regulated environments and privacy constraints is required. The role demands the management of multiple tasks while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Familiarity with cloud platforms and scalable data infrastructure is expected.

Nice to Have Qualifications

Experience with causal inference or quasi-experimental study designs is valued. Knowledge of post-acute care workflows and reimbursement models is a plus.

Tools and Skills

Proficiency in Python, SQL, Snowflake, Looker, Tableau, Git, Airflow, and AWS is required.
