What you'll do
Ownership of complex, ambiguous features is executed through small, independently shippable increments to deliver clear customer and system impact. Production-ready code and risk-based testing approaches are defined to support safe rollout patterns that reduce deployment risk. Rapid response to production incidents is provided, with follow-up improvements that prevent recurrence. Actionable code reviews, accurate documentation, and direct input shape technical discussions and planning to help teammates make better decisions. Context is created through clear commit messages, notes, and documentation so teammates can understand decisions without verbal handoffs.
Requirements
You must bring 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a track record of delivering customer-facing SaaS product features in production. Ambiguous work is broken into small, deliverable increments and moved forward independently despite uncertainty. Backend proficiency is demonstrated in one or more of Go, Java, Python, or C++. Scalable web architecture, API design, and performance optimization are deeply understood. Cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP are used, along with SQL and NoSQL databases. Unit, integration, and end-to-end tests are designed and written with a clear sense of when and how to apply each. Safe deployment and rollout patterns, including feature flags and canary releases, are implemented. AI tools are actively used as part of your software development workflow. Strong communication, collaboration, and cross-functional partnership skills are applied consistently. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.

You improve team-level tooling, processes, or developer workflows beyond your immediate feature work. You mentor or level up engineers through code review or technical documentation. You contribute to shared platform capabilities used across multiple product areas.
