What you'll do

• Collaborate with senior designers and engineers to develop mechanical designs for residential projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of detailed mechanical drawings and specifications using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all documentation.
• Conduct load calculations to determine heating, cooling, and ventilation requirements for residential buildings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the residential sector.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, for creating detailed mechanical designs.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing design, and building codes relevant to residential projects.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform load calculations and system sizing.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members and present ideas to clients.
