What you'll do

• Lead the design and development of scalable software applications that support Paybyphone's core services, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and UX/UI designers, to define and refine software requirements and specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in software development and design patterns.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to users.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, with a solid understanding of frameworks like Spring, Django, or Node.js.
• Experience with cloud services and platforms, particularly AWS or Azure, to support scalable application deployment.
• Strong understanding of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL technologies, and experience with data modeling.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js to create engaging user interfaces.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
