About the role
Pattern is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage and organize product imagery for our brand partners. You will bridge the gap between raw assets and the creative team by ensuring all visual content is correctly identified, renamed, and stored. In this capacity, you will own the integrity and accessibility of the visual library that supports our ecommerce operations. The role requires a methodical approach to file management and a commitment to maintaining structured digital repositories. You will serve as a key liaison between source materials and the creative production workflow. Success in this position will be measured by the accuracy and efficiency of asset retrieval and preparation. You will be responsible for translating disorganized collections into reliable, search-ready resources.

What you'll do
- Execute a systematic collection of visual assets from diverse sources including cloud storage endpoints, Digital Asset Management systems, and web scraping activities.
- Establish precise linkages between image files and corresponding product records within the internal database to maintain data coherence.
- Deploy standardized naming conventions across large batches of files by leveraging automation tools and scripting solutions.
- Oversee the upload, categorization, and structural organization of image collections into the Pattern Digital Asset Management platform and associated cloud repositories.
- Monitor and track asset availability on a recurring basis while identifying content gaps through the generation of detailed spreadsheet reporting.
- Analyze existing materials to propose innovative methods for generating new content from repurposed or underutilized assets.
- Partner closely with project managers to refine product data, metadata, and supporting information to meet the requirements of creative production cycles.
- Evaluate, implement, and provide training on AI-driven tools designed to enhance and streamline internal creative workflows.
- Validate the quality and consistency of incoming visual materials to ensure compliance with brand and technical standards.
- Document standard operating procedures for asset management to support scalability and knowledge transfer within the team.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve discrepancies in asset attribution, format, or usage rights.
- Support the optimization of image files for various ecommerce channels, balancing quality with performance requirements.
- Maintain an organized archive of historical assets while ensuring that current collections remain easily navigable.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the digital asset pipeline by identifying bottlenecks and suggesting process enhancements.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor degree in a relevant field such as Digital Media, Design, Fine Arts, Information Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Possess 12 to 18 months of professional experience in a role involving digital asset management, image processing, or related creative operations.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and MS Excel, including the use of formulas, data validation, and pivot tables.
- Bring hands-on experience working with Product Information Management (PIM) or Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms in a professional setting.
- Exhibit advanced English language skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities for collaboration with global teams.
- Show proven familiarity with modern AI tools, including image recognition, automated tagging systems, or generative AI applications.
- Possess the ability to perform basic image editing tasks such as cropping, resizing, format conversion, and minor color correction.
- Have experience using scripts or automation to handle high-volume file processing and repetitive media preparation tasks.
- Display strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate reliability, ownership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving without requiring constant supervision.
- Show willingness to adapt to evolving tools, technologies, and internal procedures as the organization grows.
- Communicate effectively in a team-oriented setting and contribute positively to collaborative projects.

- Basic understanding of SEO principles as they relate to image metadata and file naming.
