About the role
Parallel is on the lookout for a dedicated Partner Marketing specialist to spearhead our co-marketing initiatives. This pivotal role will focus on crafting and executing strategies that drive demand through our extensive partner ecosystem and direct customer interactions. As the inaugural hire in this area, you will play a crucial role in laying the groundwork for our partner marketing strategies and initiatives.

What you'll do
- Develop and execute co-marketing initiatives with partners, which may include collaborative content creation, product launches, events, and success stories from customers.
- Identify and capitalize on significant marketing opportunities, negotiating co-branding and messaging strategies with partner marketing teams.
- Ensure that all marketing programs effectively target diverse audiences, ranging from AI engineers to enterprise-level technical leaders.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure that marketing narratives align with the progression of sales deals.
- Work alongside the Developer Relations (DevRel) team to produce engaging demos and cookbooks that highlight the value of our products.
- Partner with the partnerships team to identify which integrations should be highlighted during launch events.
- Analyze the effectiveness of marketing programs by measuring demand generation outcomes.
- Build and refine the operational framework for the partner marketing function, establishing best practices and processes.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all marketing efforts.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies and identify new partnership opportunities.
- Present marketing plans and results to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
- Maintain an organized repository of co-marketing materials and success metrics for ongoing evaluation and improvement.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in partner marketing or co-marketing roles is essential.
- Previous experience in a developer-tool, API, or infrastructure company is required.
- Proven ability to engage with technical audiences through effective joint announcements and marketing campaigns.
- Experience collaborating with partner marketing teams on co-branding and messaging initiatives.
- A successful track record of transforming integrations or customer success stories into impactful market launches.
- Strong analytical skills to measure and evaluate the success of marketing programs based on demand generation metrics.
- Comfort and capability in establishing a new function and defining its operational guidelines and playbook.

- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms that facilitate co-marketing efforts.
- Experience in managing large-scale events or trade shows that involve partner collaboration.
