Senior Product Designer
Job description
About the role
This Senior Product Designer role owns the end-to-end design of Paddle's Core Experience, shaping the foundational surfaces that every seller encounters when interacting with the platform. You will own sign-up, onboarding, and the connective tissue that makes Paddle feel like a single coherent product rather than a collection of disparate tools. This is a horizontal role where you partner deeply with Product and Engineering to define problems, shape solutions, and maintain a high bar for quality across the entire Seller Experience. You will actively contribute to integration and AI experiences, forming a clear point of view on where these technologies create real user value and where they introduce friction. The role requires exceptional UI craft, deep design systems expertise, and systems thinking that balances hands-on execution with strategic influence. You will use research, data, and customer feedback to validate decisions and continuously refine complex B2B flows. As a mentor, you will support other designers through critique, collaboration, and clear storytelling that secures buy-in for cross-cutting foundational work.

- Are curious about adopting AI in the design process and in the products you build, and can critically assess where AI delivers real user value and translate it into thoughtful, usable experiences.
- Are comfortable working horizontally across many teams, aligning stakeholders, balancing competing needs, and creating consistency without slowing teams down.
- Communicate design decisions clearly and confidently, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Are a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, able to own work from discovery through delivery with minimal oversight.
- Have a solid understanding of implementation constraints, responsive design, and accessibility, and collaborate effectively with engineers on delivery.
- Possess strong UI design and prototyping skills using Figma, Claude Code (or similar tools).
- Have experience designing high-scale, consumer-facing or B2B products, experience in SaaS or fintech, with onboarding journeys, or in foundational/platform design is a plus.
