Analytics Engineer I
Job description
About the role
You will design, build, and maintain dimensional models and data transformations that convert raw operational data into reliable, well-structured analytical assets. You will partner with domain experts and stakeholders to capture business logic and translate it into dimensional models that serve analytics use cases across the organization. You will work within Oscar's unified data foundation in dbt, under the guidance of more senior Analytics Engineers, to ensure data product health through automated tests and monitoring. You will contribute to the semantic layer that powers enterprise business intelligence and help advance the Analytics Engineering roadmap by executing on small-to-medium projects with minimal oversight. This is a hands-on role focused on growing your craft in dimensional modeling, SQL, and analytics engineering within a healthcare environment where your work directly supports members and providers.
