About the role
The Director, AI Technologies at Openloop Health will define and execute the enterprise AI roadmap aligned to business priorities. On this role you will identify, prioritize, and deliver high-impact AI use cases with measurable ROI while maintaining rigorous ownership of strategic outcomes. You will represent AI strategy in executive and cross-functional forums, ensuring that artificial intelligence initiatives are clearly communicated and understood at all levels of the organization. On the team you would own the design, deployment, and operation of the enterprise AI platform, overseeing its architecture and evolution. You will establish scalable, secure, and compliant AI infrastructure that supports LLMs, MLOps workflows, and critical integrations across the enterprise. The position requires you to define standards for model lifecycle management, covering deployment, monitoring, and incident response to ensure reliability. You will maintain oversight of AI systems, vendors, and usage across the organization to mitigate risk and maximize value. On the team you would lead end-to-end delivery of AI solutions that touch clinical, operational, and corporate functions, ensuring coherence and consistency. You will drive adoption and integration of AI into business workflows, turning experimental capabilities into day-to-day operational tools. Finally, you will ensure that outcomes are tied to efficiency, cost, or performance improvements, providing clear evidence of value for every major initiative.

Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare IT, clinical decision support, or HIPAA-regulated environments.
- Familiarity with AWS AI/ML services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, and Amazon Connect AI capabilities.
- Experience building teams from the ground up in a new function, establishing culture and operating models.
- Background in workforce management, BPO technology, or contact center AI, reflecting domain awareness.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
