Onebrief is seeking a Principal Integration Manager to provide strategic leadership for the execution of a critical national security program. This role involves owning the full lifecycle of a multi-million dollar engagement supporting the Next Generation Constructive (NGC) initiative. What you'll do
- Assume end-to-end ownership of Onebrief's contributions to the NGC program, managing schedules, milestones, risks, deliverables, and customer commitments to ensure successful execution and growth.
- Serve as the primary liaison coordinating government stakeholders, internal cross-functional teams, vendors, and industry partners to maintain alignment and forward momentum on critical initiatives.
- Lead the development and management of program schedules, ensuring strict adherence to milestones while proactively identifying and mitigating potential delays or bottlenecks.
- Interpret Statements of Work (SOWs) and manage program scope, balancing customer requests with contractual obligations and collaborating with Legal on necessary contract modifications.
- Drive the planning and execution of all customer engagements, including internal and external reviews, to ensure clarity, transparency, and consistent value delivery.
- Oversee comprehensive risk management activities, providing cross-functional guidance and oversight to technical leads to ensure issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Spearhead program planning efforts, facilitating workshops and sessions that bring together diverse stakeholders to define objectives, success criteria, and execution pathways.
- Identify opportunities to enhance program execution, reduce operational costs, and implement process improvements that support long-term scalability and growth.
- Act as the central point for escalation and decision-making, working directly with the executive team to address high-impact issues and strategic pivots as needed.
- Monitor and report on program health, delivering clear insights and recommendations that keep the NGC initiative on track and aligned with broader organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration across matrixed teams, ensuring that all contributors understand their roles in the program's success.
- Leverage deep expertise in defense acquisition and operational planning to guide the integration of software solutions within complex government frameworks.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of operational planning, defense acquisition, and large headquarters environments through practical application and documented experience.
- Bring a minimum of 10 years of experience managing Government Programs of Record (PoRs) within the defense technology industry, with verifiable outcomes.
- Exhibit proven ability to influence without authority, communicating effectively across cross-functional internal teams, customers, and external partners at all levels.
- Show demonstrated experience owning large government programs, including responsibility for schedules, contractual scope, stakeholder management, and risk management.
- Possess the capability to navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and influence government stakeholders while maintaining strong, trust-based customer relationships.
- Hold a Current Active Secret clearance with demonstrated eligibility for Top Secret/SCI access, with no discrepancies in adjudication.
- Confirm the ability to travel approximately 50% of the time to locations such as Orlando, Florida, and Leavenworth, Kansas, as required for program execution.
- Provide evidence of experience working within fast-paced, deadline-driven environments where adaptability and resilience are essential.
- Show a history of managing complex deliverables under strict compliance and regulatory requirements inherent to government programs.
- Illustrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize technical and non-technical information for diverse audiences.
- Maintain a track record of reliability and integrity, with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a structured and transparent manner.

- Have a history of managing multiple vendors simultaneously, functioning effectively as a prime contractor, Lead Systems Integrator (LSI), or in an equivalent program leadership role.
- Show familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies as they apply to large-scale defense software deployments.
- Demonstrate experience with risk registers, issue logs, and change control processes in a government contracting context.
- Highlight any prior work with simulation, modeling, or constructive simulation environments relevant to military planning.
Practical notes
This is a full-time position based in the United States with remote flexibility. Travel is required approximately 50% of the time to specific locations including Orlando, Florida, and Leavenworth, Kansas. Candidates must be eligible for a Current Active Secret clearance and maintain eligibility for Top Secret/SCI. The role reports to the Head of Key Initiatives and involves significant interaction with executive leadership. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. This position is subject to the terms of employment and confidentiality agreements standard for Onebrief roles involving controlled unclassified information (CUI).
