About the role
OKX will be prioritising applicants who have a current right to work in Hong Kong, and do not require OKX's sponsorship of a visa. Please note that Hong Kong is a group-level service hub, and OKX does not carry on a business of operating a virtual asset trading platform in Hong Kong. The role focuses on owning the mobile engineering for OKX's crypto fiat on/off-ramp experience across offshore and international markets, specifically within the P2P and Fiat business segments. You will architect, build, and maintain high-performance mobile features that directly support trading, payments, and compliance flows. Collaboration with cross-functional partners including product, design, and backend is essential to deliver seamless user journeys. You will lead technical decisions, implement robust solutions, and ensure mobile excellence in security, reliability, and user experience. This position requires a strong commitment to agile practices and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in shaping the mobile strategy for one of the leading crypto platforms globally.

What you'll do
Define and drive the technical vision for mobile products within the P2P and Fiat business lines at OKX.
Architect, develop, and maintain native mobile applications for iOS and Android with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into high-quality mobile features.
Implement and optimize critical user flows such as trading, payments, onboarding, and compliance interactions.
Lead the integration of third-party SDKs and APIs relevant to crypto fiat on/off-ramp operations.
Ensure mobile applications comply with regional regulations and operational standards across international markets.
Monitor application health, troubleshoot production issues, and coordinate rapid incident response with backend and platform teams.
Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in mobile development and testing.
Partner with data and analytics teams to instrument and measure user behavior, enabling data-driven product decisions.
Continuously explore new mobile technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve development efficiency and product quality.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of internal mobile libraries, templates, and documentation.
Support the release process, including staging deployments, rollout strategies, and post-release validation.
Engage in long-term technical planning, roadmap prioritization, and capacity estimation for mobile initiatives.
Act as a technical owner for mobile features, ensuring alignment with business goals and user expectations.
Promote a culture of learning, experimentation, and ownership across the mobile engineering organization.
Requirements
Demonstrate extensive experience in mobile development with native languages such as Kotlin and Swift.
Show a strong portfolio of shipped mobile applications with demonstrable impact on user engagement and business outcomes.
Possess deep knowledge of iOS and Android architecture, lifecycle management, and platform-specific best practices.
Have experience working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous data handling in mobile contexts.
Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues in production environments.
Be comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments with frequent iterations and changing priorities.
Have a solid understanding of security principles, especially as they apply to financial and crypto-related applications.
Be willing to travel occasionally to support OKX operations and engage with global teams across different regions.
