About the role
The Product Director (Pay & Card) will own the strategic vision and end to end execution for OKX global payment and card product lines. This leader will be accountable for managing the full lifecycle of products that enable seamless fiat on ramps, stablecoin settlements, and card based disbursements for both retail customers and institutional partners. They will define how OKX monetizes payment flows and card usage while ensuring that compliance, risk, and user experience remain aligned with global standards. The role requires driving innovation in cross border payments, optimizing conversion funnels, and ensuring that product decisions directly support revenue and market share growth. You will act as the primary product steward for all payment and card initiatives, balancing user needs with business objectives in a highly regulated environment. The director will translate complex market and regulatory constraints into clear product requirements that engineering teams can execute against with precision. Success in this position will be measured by improved transaction success rates, expanded merchant acceptance, and higher wallet conversion across key geographies. You will own the narrative of how payments and cards become a core growth engine for the OKX ecosystem rather than a supporting function.

What you'll do
- Define and prioritize the product roadmap for payment and card offerings, ensuring alignment with OKX global strategy.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from initial concept through discovery, design, build, and market launch.
- Design and execute growth strategies to improve user acquisition, retention, and reactivation for payment and card products.
- Run A/B tests and analyze user data to refine product features and optimize the end to end user journey.
- Lead cross functional collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, and business development teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Oversee market expansion efforts, with a focus on the American and European regions, adapting products to local regulations.
- Mentor and lead a team focused on product growth initiatives, setting clear goals, feedback, and career development.
- Communicate product vision, progress, and key metrics to internal stakeholders and local market executives on a regular basis.
- Establish metrics driven frameworks for evaluating payment product performance and card network partnerships.
- Identify new payment methods, card schemes, and settlement rails to keep OKX competitive in fast moving markets.
- Partner closely with risk and compliance to implement controls that reduce fraud while maintaining frictionless user flows.
- Drive go to market plans that coordinate product releases with marketing campaigns and partnership announcements.
Requirements
- Bring 10 plus years of professional experience in product management, with a track record of delivering complex products.
- Possess a background in payment networks, stablecoin payments, or established cryptocurrency firms that understand clearing and settlement.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in data analytics, A/B testing, and user research methodologies to inform product decisions.
- Show deep understanding of CeFi, DeFi, cryptocurrencies, and payment infrastructure, including rails, clearing, and settlement.
- Prove ability to perform effectively in a fast paced environment and adapt to shifting market conditions and regulatory landscapes.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills for both technical and non technical audiences, translating complexity into clarity.
- Hold the right to work and reside in Singapore, with no expectation of visa sponsorship from the company.
- Display experience working with cross functional stakeholders to align on priorities and resolve dependencies.
- Show commitment to building inclusive products that serve diverse user segments across different geographies.
- Maintain high standards for product quality, reliability, and security in all payment and card related features.
