This role is hiring a DevOps Engineer to work on a pivotal Federal program that is making a positive impact on millions of Americans' daily lives.
Key facts
What you will do
You will design and stabilize deployment workflows for a federal program, owning the full lifecycle while collaborating closely with engineers. You will orchestrate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to accelerate delivery for government workloads. You will construct infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and Terraform to enforce consistency and auditability. You will administer AWS services such as ECS, S3, Lambda, and RDS for scalable, compliant environments. You will containerize applications, then monitor and troubleshoot Docker workloads to ensure uptime. You will define development and data science platforms with SageMaker, DataZone, and Athena for analytical workflows. You will operate on Linux systems while contributing to standards that strengthen DevOps practices organization wide. You will guide infrastructure decisions through meticulous documentation and clear cross team dialogue. You will support evolving duties that align with program needs as priorities shift in a regulated context.
Requirements
You must hold authorization to work in the United States and meet federal contract requirements. A bachelor's degree is mandatory for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal contract requirements, certain roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and or a security clearance.
What you will bring
You will bring hands on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline engineering. You will demonstrate proficiency with infrastructure as code tools including CloudFormation and Terraform. You will have strong AWS experience across core services including ECS, S3, Lambda, and RDS. You will have experience with Docker and containerized environments. You will have familiarity with data science platforms such as SageMaker, DataZone, or Athena. You will thrive in a remote, collaborative Agile environment and genuinely enjoy working closely with a cross functional team. You will communicate clearly and openly, whether documenting infrastructure decisions or collaborating with engineers. You will perform other related duties as assigned.
