About the role
The Associate, Treasury plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless financial operations of Oak Hill Advisors by managing the lifeblood of the business. This position is responsible for executing precise cash wire movements and maintaining the accuracy of daily deal funding activities. You will act as a key steward of liquidity, safeguarding the firm's financial position across a diverse range of investment strategies. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to forecasting and managing complex inter-company capital flows. You will be instrumental in supporting the Firm's foreign exchange initiatives and hedging programs to mitigate financial risk. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders to implement and enhance treasury systems and controls. The position demands a high level of ownership over process improvement and the automation of treasury functions. Ultimately, you will contribute directly to the efficiency and stability of the Firm's global investment operations.

What you'll do
- Execute cash management strategies by coordinating wire transfers and optimizing the Firm's cash positioning on a daily basis.
- Administer capital injections and distributions to ensure adequate liquidity for all investment transactions and settlement obligations.
- Operate and refine the Firm's foreign exchange program by processing spot transactions and executing hedging strategies in coordination with external providers.
- Analyze and oversee fund financing structures, including credit facilities, to assess the impact on portfolio leverage and overall returns.
- Champion the implementation and maintenance of treasury systems by leading the build-out of new cash management modules and functional enhancements.
- Scrutinize monthly bank account billing statements to verify accuracy and reconcile discrepancies across various custodial banking relationships.
- Partner with technology vendors and the internal team to drive the successful implementation of new treasury initiatives and process improvements.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism by demonstrating leadership through collaboration, innovation, and accountability in all treasury activities.
- Author and maintain comprehensive Treasury policies, procedures, and management reporting to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal clients and external financial partners to facilitate efficient transaction processing.
- Synthesize complex financial data to support decision-making and improve treasury operations.
- Adapt to evolving business needs by taking on additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
- Monitor and control cash flow processes to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal control standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in treasury operations to enhance the overall effectiveness of the Finance and Operations teams.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), with a preferred focus in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Possess a minimum of five years of professional treasury experience, with a demonstrated history in Treasury Operations and wire processing.
- Bring substantial expertise in cash management, including the administration of liquidity for investment transactions.
- Have direct exposure to Fixed income, High Yield, Bank Debt, Structured Products, and Derivatives within a treasury or finance capacity.
- Exhibit strong financial, analytical, organizational, and quantitative skills to manage complex financial data.
- Demonstrate the ability to coordinate multiple complex activities simultaneously while prioritizing conflicting demands under tight deadlines.
- Show a high level of motivation to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
- Maintain exceptional written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Ensure a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to proof work thoroughly before submission.
- Master advanced Microsoft Excel to build robust financial models and perform detailed data analysis.
- Display the capability to set priorities effectively and manage the demands of multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The In-Office Requirement for this role requires adherence to the Fort Worth office schedule, which currently operates on a hybrid model where employees work in-office Tuesday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays; this schedule is subject to change based on organizational needs and policies.
